Pivotal Safety Solutions will immerse into your operations to identify and analyse your current compliance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements.
Our Safety Program Development and Documentation service will provide a detailed written safety manual, policies, hazard assessments, safe work procedures, emergency response plan, inspection checklists and orientation packages. All documents are delivered as editable Microsoft Word and PDF files with client branding included.
Audit Preparation & Support
Full service Audit Preparation and Support for Certificate of Recognition (COR) and Workers Compensation Board (WCB) compliance. Including a gap analysis, corrective action planning, mock audit, interview preparation and audit-day support. If you’re interested in continued support post-certification, our team is available to be hired on retainer.
Incident Investigation
Pivotal Safety Solutions offers a third-party, non-bias perspective to any internal investigation. From near-misses and minor injuries through to serious injuries, fatalities, and OHS-reportable events, we can lead the investigation outright or work alongside your team to ensure the process is defensible. We scale consulting to the severity and time commitment of your incident. Incident Investigation services including scene assessment, witness interviews, root cause analysis, written investigation report and corrective action recommendations.
Online Safety Training
Pivotal Safety Solutions has an online portal for relevant, high-standard safety certification and education. Our Online Safety Training portal offers on-demand safety certifications and courses via BIS Trainer LMS. Courses are mobile-friendly and available on an individual, self-serve basis or available for employer bulk buying and licensing. Course topics cover hazard communication, working at heights, confined space, energy and gas hazards, ground disturbance, workplace violence prevention and more. Certificates are issued on completion.
Injury Management & WCB Navigation
We are ready to review your claim and advocate on your behalf. Pivotal Safety Solutions are here to help throughout the full claim cycle, managing initial injury reporting through modified duties, return to work and claim closure. Injury Management and WCB Navigation services include program development, WCB communication, cost relief and transfer applications, appeals support and premium/rate review.
